Accessibility Statement
**Last updated: June 2026**
CertApp is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Our Commitment
We aim to conform to the **Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA**. These guidelines help make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those with visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor impairments.
Measures We Take
- All pages use semantic HTML so screen readers can navigate effectively
- Color contrast meets WCAG AA minimum ratio (4.5:1 for text)
- All interactive elements have visible focus indicators
- Touch targets are a minimum of 44x44 pixels for mobile usability
- Font sizes are a minimum of 14px — text scales with your device accessibility settings
- Course videos include captions (where available)
- Forms use descriptive labels and clear error messages
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following areas where we are actively improving accessibility:
- Some older PDF certificates may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We are updating our certificate generator to produce fully accessible PDFs.
- Video captions are not yet available for all modules. We are adding captions progressively.
Assistive Technology
CertApp has been tested with:
- VoiceOver (iOS and macOS)
- NVDA (Windows)
- TalkBack (Android)
- Keyboard-only navigation
