Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using CertApp. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services
CertApp provides online certification courses that meet Texas DSHS requirements for food handler training. Completion of a course and passing the final test earns you a certificate of completion.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 14 years old to use CertApp. By using our services, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Course Rules
- You must complete all modules and pass the final test to receive a certificate
- Quiz and final test answers must be your own — do not share answers or use unauthorized assistance
- Each enrollment covers one person — certificates are non-transferable
- You have a maximum number of attempts on quizzes and the final test as specified in each course
5. Payment
Course fees are charged at enrollment. Prices are listed in US dollars and include all applicable taxes. Payment is processed securely by Stripe.
6. Refund Policy
See our Refund Policy for full details. Summary: full refund if you have not started the course; no refund after the certificate is issued.
7. Certificate Validity
Certificates are issued based on the information you provide. If you provide false information, your certificate may be revoked. CertApp is not responsible for an employer's or agency's acceptance or rejection of a certificate.
8. Intellectual Property
All course content, including text, images, videos, and assessments, is owned by CertApp and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
CertApp is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the course will be accepted by any specific employer, court, or government agency, although we make every effort to ensure our courses meet applicable Texas requirements.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CertApp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
